The Old School - Asheville
is committed to creating and celebrating a diverse learning environment that recognizes and values differences so that we are better able to effectively serve the diverse community of peoples in which we live. We strictly prohibit and do not tolerate discrimination against employees or applicants on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, religion/non-religion or age in our programs and activities. We are working on becoming an Anti-racist organization and prioritize partnering with Black owned and managed organizations. We believe with our Liberation Theology brothers and sisters that there should also be a preferential option for the poor. The Old School values and respects visible and invisible differences that represent the strengths, experiences and unique skills of each and every educator and student.
